As the weeks go by you will notice that your clothes are looser. Your weight will gradually drop, week by week, until your normal weight has been restored. For some people this will only take one to two months, for others six months to a year, however ,the bottom line is IT WILL HAPPEN!
Many people also experience clearing of their sinuses, less stiffness in their joints, and regularity of bowel functions. Indigestion, heartburn and acid stomach are reduced and many even vanish completely within a few weeks of adopting this ideal way of eating.
People with high cholesterol and abnormal blood chemistry can expect to see improvements within weeks of starting the Paleo way of eating. Blood triglyceride levels will drop within days and the good HDL cholesterol will rise. For most people who follow the Paleo way of eating, total blood cholesterol and LDL cholesterol drop within the first two weeks.
The Paleo eating plan is particularly helpful for people with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, kidney stones and osteoporosis. There is also a significant amount of evidence suggesting that the Paleo eating plan may be helpful in certain autoimmune diseases. WHAT ARE THE BASIC RULES OF THE PALEO EATING PLAN?
The Paleolithic people were hunter-gatherers, meaning products such as grains and dairy products were absent from their diet. It is also clear that the Paleolithic people did not have salt, something our current diet is filled with.
On the Paleo eating plan, there is no calorie counting. It is simply, the easiest, healthiest, most sensible and sustainable way to eat there is! It’s the way we were meant to eat….as previously mentioned-genetically we are programmed to eat this way.
WHAT ARE HUNTER-GATHERER FOODS?
The rule of thumb is ….It’s Paleo if it runs, walks, swims, flies or grows.
- Lean, animal foods rich in proteins such as fish, seafood, eggs, and fowl
- Non-starchy vegetables with low carbohydrates like raw nuts, roots and berries
- Fruits low in sugar like berries and apples
SUMMARY FOR SUCCESS ON THE PALEO PLAN
- Follow the Paleo eating plan as closely as possible
- Your first meal should be eaten within 45 minutes of waking each morning
- Eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day. It is important to the keep fire burning within to burn calories
- Eat slowly
- Each meal should consist of a protein as well as fruit and or vegetable
- Do not allow yourself to get too hungry. Eat something every 2-3 hours and you will not experience excessive hunger. If you do experience this means you are not eating enough or often enough
- Avoid sugar, gluten, artificial sweeteners and dairy
- Avoid tropical fruit and other fruits with a high glycemic index such as bananas, melons, mangos, papaya, grapes and cherries
- Avoid carbohydrates after 7 pm. Choose a lean protein instead.
- Avoid juices and all dried fruits
- Avoid soda (even diet soda and all drinks with artificial sweeteners such as Crystal Light and Vitamin waters) The body reads artificial sugar as sweet and raises the insulin level
- Drink a minimum of 100 oz. of water each day

- Once a week you will receive a specially compounded injection comprised of vitamins and enzymes that will quickly break down the fat in your body and enable it to pass through your system quickly.
- An optional tool available to you is an appetite suppressant to assist in craving and hunger control as you adjust to the elimination of processed foods based on years of eating improperly.
